Until I met Rich Hume I thought it wasn’t possible to find an instrument repair specialist outside London. Rich is a first class repairman. Importantly he is also a fine saxophone and flute player, so knows how those low notes and high harmonics need to sound. So if you need to hit those high Michael Brecker notes or get the low subtones of Ben Webster, you know they are going to respond perfectly and beautifully in tune. Rich is a skilled repairman with a rare gift.Davey Payne (Ian Dury and the Blockheads)
